Packages being printed at a Contego manufacturing facility. They will later be cut, folded, and converted to finished packages. Contego packaging is made from timber and forest products from well-managed forests which meet FSC or PEFC standards.

  • Folding cartons for the food and beverage industries.
  • Cartons, leaflets, labels, and blister pack foils for the pharmaceutical industry.
  • 14 pan-European locations, including 11 focused specifically on the pharmaceutical industry.
  • All sites conform to the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, which recognizes excellence in quality management.
  • Under previous owner, became the first carton company in the UK to achieve Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody accreditation.

INITIATIVES:

  • Rebranded Nampak Cartons and Nampak Healthcare divisions as Contego Packaging Group
  • Upgrades to plants and technology, including a new facility that will replace and upgrade a factory in Portsmouth, England.
