Matt Young oversees all financial, operating, technical and legal aspects of a Platinum transaction. His responsibilities include management presentations, valuations, due diligence and the negotiation of the definitive purchase and ancillary agreements.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2001, Mr. Young worked in the Technology Investment Banking Group at Bear Stearns & Co. Previously, he was a Contracting Officer in the United States Air Force for five years where he worked at acquiring multi-billion dollar military satellites, including the Milstar satellite system from Lockheed Martin.

Mr. Young earned his BS in Management from the United States Air Force Academy and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Southern California.
