Bob Wymbs manages strategic divestiture opportunities, working with Platinum’s portfolio management, business development and strategic planning groups to examine potential exits and execute divestiture transactions. Most recently, Mr. Wymbs worked on the divestitures of AMISYS / Synertech, Billing Concepts, and Kentrox.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2000, Mr. Wymbs spent four years at the Los Angeles Dodgers and three years at McKinsey & Company, a management consulting firm. At the two firms, he held various positions in strategic development, business development, project management, operations and marketing.

Mr. Wymbs earned an MBA from the Wharton School and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University.
