Dave Aroesty is responsible for non-core investment strategies at Platinum Equity.

Dr. Aroesty graduated magna cum laude from Princeton in economics, then attended medical school at the University of Southern California to become a practicing head and neck surgeon prior to joining Platinum Equity.

He oversees Platinum’s non-core investment strategies, including the special situations group that focuses on specific acquisitions, financing opportunities, and other investments that fall outside the core Platinum investment strategy but are still suited to our core competencies.

Integrating the non-core groups’ activities into Platinum Equity, Dr. Aroesty marshals the firm’s resources to meet their needs while ensuring that the firm remains focused on its core investment strategy.
