Drew Schechtman

Managing Director

Drew Schechtman is the Head of ESG and Sustainability. He helps advance environmental, social and governance strategies across the firm’s corporate operations, investment teams and portfolio companies. Mr. Schechtman brings 15 years experience leading ESG and sustainable investment programs and strategically driving corporate responsibility efforts.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2023, Mr. Schechtman served as the Head of ESG Investment Strategy for AIG, Corebridge Financial and Voya Financial. He also worked at BNY Mellon as Head of Environmental Investment and Sustainability.

Mr. Schechtman holds a Bachelor’s degree from Emory University and a Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
