Mr. Samson recently led the $7.4 billion business combination of Husky Technologies with CompoSecure, the combined business now operates under corporate entity GPGI, Inc.

Mr. Samson is a member of the board of directors of Custom Truck One Source (NYSE: CTOS).

Mr. Samson has over 29 years of mergers and acquisitions experience, including substantial complex carve-out and public-to-private transactions across numerous industries and countries. Prior to joining Platinum Equity, he was a managing director in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at CIBC World Markets and was an M&A lawyer with Stikeman Elliott.

Mr. Samson is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law and Le Petit Séminaire de Québec. He is a retired member of the Quebec Bar.
