Three in-house business groups at Platinum Equity work together to drive strategy, work concurrently on deals, and make resources available to our portfolio companies.Having distinct but integrated business groups enable us to work concurrently on many deals at different stages in the process. These in-house teams enable us to move quickly on opportunities and to give our portfolio companies access to the full suite of our resources and capabilities.

Business Development Team
The Business Development Team works closely with our M&A Teams to locate, assess, and develop investment opportunities for both Platinum and our portfolio companies. The thousands of opportunities we see annually are due in part to the strength of our BD Team’s relationships with business leaders and investment bankers.

M&A Teams
Built of deep in-house resources from across all operational disciplines, our M&A Teams assess and execute on deal opportunities. Their diligence and relationship-building during a transaction are key to an acquisition’s long-term success. The Teams are also a major resource for our portfolio companies as they carry out strategic growth plans.
