Christian Cook is responsible for managing the transition of newly acquired companies into Platinum Equity’s portfolio. He also has responsibilities related to post-transition monitoring and oversight of operational performance at certain portfolio companies. Mr. Cook was most recently with AlixPartners where he focused on the operational improvements and cost reduction opportunities during M&A and restructuring. Prior to AlixPartners, Christian was a Senior Manager with Deloitte. Mr. Cook holds an undergraduate degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also holds a Master’s of International Business Studies degree from University of South Carolina. Christian has spoken at the Wharton School and numerous M&A and restructuring panels.
Adam Cooper is responsible for the structuring and execution of acquisition and divestiture transactions. As a member of the operating council for certain portfolio companies, he also has responsibilities related to post-acquisition monitoring and oversight of financial performance. Prior to joining Platinum in 2001, Mr. Cooper spent five years with Ernst & Young’s Transaction Support and Audit practices in Los Angeles. Mr. Cooper received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from San Diego State University.
Brandon Crawley is responsible for managing the transition of newly acquired companies into Platinum Equity’s portfolio. He also has responsibilities related to post-transition monitoring and oversight of operational performance at certain portfolio companies. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2013, Mr. Crawley held positions at Alvarez and Marsal and PriceWaterhouseCoopers where he focused on the performance improvement and acquisition integration strategies for private equity portfolio companies across a variety of industries. Mr. Crawley holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Indiana State University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
Bibi Di Serio is responsible for legal and compliance diligence on Platinum Equity’s M&A Operations team. Prior to joining Platinum Equity as an Assistant General Counsel in 2001, Ms. Di Serio served as in house counsel for several technology companies before starting her own practice providing contract General Counsel services to technology businesses. Beginning in 2012, Ms. Di Serio served as the General Counsel for Platinum Equity’s portfolio company Chassix, Inc., a $1 billion revenue global manufacturing business, returning to Platinum Equity in 2015. Ms. Di Serio holds an undergraduate degree from Suffolk University and a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School. Ms. Di Serio also holds a Certificate in Computer & Digital Forensics from Champlain College.
John Diggins brings a comprehensive background in financial growth management and mergers & acquisitions activity to the company, in addition to broad operating experience. Through the successful development and execution of strategic sales and marketing programs, Mr. Diggins is responsible for growing the revenue base of Platinum Equity’s operating companies as well as identifying product strengths to help build market advantage. Prior to joining Platinum in 1996, Mr. Diggins was CEO for both Pilot Software and Foresight Software, which were acquired by Platinum. He was also a co-founder of Ventec Systems with Platinum Equity Chairman and CEO Tom Gores.
Alex Doñé is responsible for global functions related to strategic planning, investor capital development and other firm leadership initiatives. He is also involved in leadership and strategic planning on broader firm issues including investment product development and efforts in the environmental, social and governance (ESG) and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) arenas and other non-fund businesses and initiatives. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2022, Mr. Doñé was the Chief Investment Officer for the New York City Comptroller’s Office Bureau of Asset Management (NYC BAM) where he oversaw more than $265 billion of assets for the New York City Retirement Systems and their more than 700,000 members, retirees, and beneficiaries. Mr. Doñé joined NYC BAM in 2012 and served as Executive Director of Private Equity; Head of Private Equity; Group Head – Private Markets; Deputy Chief Investment Officer – Private Markets; and Interim Chief Investment Officer before being named CIO in 2018.
Nathan Eldridge is responsible for the structuring and execution of acquisition and divestiture transactions. He also has responsibilities related to post-acquisition monitoring and oversight of operational performance at certain portfolio companies. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2022, Mr. Eldridge worked at Citigroup in the Corporate and Investment Bank for 26 years and was the Global Head of Industrials M&A. Mr. Eldridge holds an Honours in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at University of Western Ontario.
Michael Fabiano is the Global Head of Credit at Platinum Equity and joined the firm in January 2019 to lead the formation of a standalone credit investing platform. In addition to leading the Credit team, he is a member of the credit Investment Committee. Prior to joining Platinum Equity, Mr. Fabiano was a Managing Director at GSO Capital Partners LP, the global credit investment platform of Blackstone, where he led credit investments in operationally and financially challenged situations. Prior to joining GSO, Mr. Fabiano was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley where he was a member of the Leveraged Finance team and worked on numerous leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations.
Dan Frich is primarily responsible for commercial and operational due diligence on Platinum Equity’s M&A Operations team. Mr. Frich has also worked with several Platinum operating companies post-acquisition to drive accelerated launch of initiatives and ensure successful exit. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2012, Mr. Frich served as a Director at AlixPartners and Vice President at Foamex International. He also held positions at Lyondell Chemical Company and Arco Chemical Company.
Nick Fries is responsible for the structuring and execution of acquisition and divestiture transactions. He also has responsibilities related to post-acquisition monitoring and oversight of operational performance at certain portfolio companies. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2007, Mr. Fries worked at Credit Suisse. Mr. Fries holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Occidental College.
