Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2013, Mr. Koesler worked at JP Morgan and Macquarie Capital.

Mr. Koesler holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Southern California.

Jacob Kotzubei is co-president of Platinum Equity and a member of its Investment Committee. Among his responsibilities, Mr. Kotzubei leads the Los Angeles headquarters–based investment team and has oversight responsibility for the investment team in Asia. In addition, Mr. Kotzubei plays an active role in the management of the firm’s day-to-day activities as well as its strategic direction.

Mr. Kotzubei and his team led the acquisition of, divestiture of or investment in the following: SourceOne Healthcare (formerly Diagnostic Imaging), Geologic, CompuCom Systems, Turf Care Supply (formerly a division of Lesco), ESM Group, PNA Group, SDI, Broadleaf Logistic (formerly Canwel Building Products, a division acquired from Weyerhaeuser),

Dan Krasner

Dan Krasner is responsible for the structuring and execution of acquisition and divestiture transactions. As a member of the operating council for portfolio companies, he also has responsibilities related to post-acquisition monitoring and oversight of add-on and divestiture transactions.

Prior to joining Platinum in 2003, he spent five years in the mergers and acquisitions group of Paul Hastings.

Mr. Krasner received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, and a Juris Doctor degree from Cornell University Law School.

Jonathan (Jon) Lee is responsible for the structuring and execution of acquisition and divestiture transactions. He also has responsibilities related to post-acquisition monitoring and oversight of operational performance at certain portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2018, Mr. Lee worked at H.I.G. Capital, where he was focused on growth investments in technology and healthcare. Prior to H.I.G., Mr. Lee worked in the investment banking division of Jefferies.

Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and a Master’s degree in Accounting from the College of William & Mary.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2008, Mr. Louie was an investment professional at American Capital Strategies, a middle-market focused private equity firm. Prior to American Capital, Mr. Louie worked in venture capital and growth equity at both Canaan Partners and Agilent Technologies, as well as in investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette

Aaron Mazzolini is responsible for the structuring and execution of divestiture transactions as part of Platinum Equity’s dedicated sell-side team.

Prior to joining Platinum in 2002, Mr. Mazzolini was an executive at Paradigm Talent and Literary Agency where he managed transactions on behalf of the firm.

Mr. Mazzolini holds an undergraduate degree from Ohio University.

Prior to joining Platinum in 2001, he spent seven years with Ernst & Young’s Transaction Support and Audit groups. Mr. McCarthy received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2011, Mr. Patwardhan was an M&A Analyst at CIBC World Markets

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from University of Michigan.

Ramin Pourfar

Ramin Pourfar is a Principal in Debt Capital Markets and is responsible for debt capital placement and related corporate finance activity for new and existing portfolio companies. Mr. Pourfar helps manage the firm’s relationships with capital providers around the world and oversees financing transactions related to leveraged buyouts, refinancings and recapitalizations using High Yield, Senior and Junior Debt, and ABL structures.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2013, Mr. Pourfar was a Vice President of Global Capital Markets at Morgan Stanley. Prior to Morgan Stanley he was a Vice President at Wells Fargo.

Mr. Pourfar holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Master’s degree in Economics from Fordham University.

Jason Price is responsible for the structuring and execution of acquisition and divestiture transactions. He also has responsibilities related to post-acquisition monitoring and oversight of operational performance at certain portfolio companies. Successful transactions include BWAY and MACtac.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2010, Mr. Price served as a Senior Vice President at Houlihan Lokey and as a Senior Associate at Goldsmith Agio Helms (now Lazard Middle Market).

Mr. Price holds an undergraduate degree with honors in Finance, Economics and Political Science from University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
