As a member of Platinum Equity’s M&A Operations team, Aloysius Sin is responsible for performing commercial and operational due diligence on potential acquisition targets and for developing post-acquisition transition and value creation plans.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2016, Mr. Sin worked at GIC and Bain & Company.

Mr. Sin holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Kevin P. Smith is Head of Debt Capital Markets and is responsible for all debt capital placement and related corporate finance activity for new and existing portfolio companies. Mr. Smith helps manage the firm’s relationships with capital providers around the world and spearheads financing transactions related to leveraged buyouts, refinancings and recapitalizations using High Yield, Senior and Junior Debt, and ABL structures.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2010, Mr. Smith was a senior leverage finance banker with Wells Fargo, Mellon, UMTB Group, and First Chicago/Bank One.

Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Butler University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the USC Marshall School of Business.

Amit Sobti

Amit Sobti, based in Singapore, leads the Asia deal execution team and is responsible for the structuring and execution of acquisition and divestiture transactions.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2023, Mr. Sobti was a Senior Managing Director in Private Capital at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. Previously, he held positions at Unitas Capital, Warburg Pincus, Rhone Capital and Merrill Lynch.

Mr. Sobti holds a dual A.B. in Business Economics and Computer Science magna cum laude from Brown University.

Ryan Toteja provides in-house counsel on legal affairs for Platinum Equity and its portfolio companies, with an emphasis on supporting the firm’s investor relations, compliance, tax and credit teams.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2021, Mr. Toteja worked at The Carlyle Group and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.

Mr. Toteja holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from Columbia Law School.

Harry Travers is responsible for financial due diligence and supports the structuring and execution of acquisition and divestiture transactions. As a member of the operating council for select European portfolio companies, he has responsibilities related to post-acquisition monitoring and oversight of financial performance.

Prior to joining Platinum in 2018, Mr. Travers spent ten years at KPMG, primarily within its Deal Advisory practice in London and Hong Kong.

Mr. Travers holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Daniel Vercillo is responsible for financial due diligence and supports the structuring and execution of acquisition and divestiture transactions. He also has responsibilities related to post-acquisition monitoring and oversight of financial performance.

Mr. Vercillo joined Platinum Equity in 2009 after gaining experience at PwC and Ernst & Young. He rejoined Platinum Equity in 2025 after holding leadership positions at other private equity firms.

Mr. Vercillo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Villanova University.

Malik Vorderwuelbecke is responsible for the structuring and execution of acquisition and divestiture transactions. He also has responsibilities related to post-acquisition monitoring and oversight of operational performance at select portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2012, Mr. Vorderwuelbecke worked at Englefield Capital, a pan-European private equity firm and UBS Investment Bank.

Mr. Vorderwuelbecke holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a Master’s in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.

Dawn Walloch is a member of the firm’s in-house tax department and is responsible for addressing tax issues relating to the firm’s M&A activities as well as the operations of the firm’s portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2004, Ms. Walloch held positions at PWC, Ernst & Young and Warner Bros.

Ms. Walloch holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University, Los Angeles.

Robert Wentworth

Robert Wentworth participates in senior-level merger and acquisition activities for Platinum Equity and is a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Wentworth was previously president and chief executive officer for the North American operations of Platinum portfolio company NextiraOne, where he led its formation and served as its CEO since its inception in 2001.

Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 1997, Mr. Wentworth was president and chief executive officer at Alden Electronics, where he also served as the company’s chief financial officer. Previously, Mr. Wentworth served as a certified public accountant for 14 years with Ernst & Young.

Mr. Wentworth grew up in Massachusetts and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at Bentley College.
